Daniel relocated to the Central Coast from Orange County in 2019, seeking the “SLO” lifestyle that he experienced as a child when his family would vacation in the area. Having started his hospitality career as a bellman he worked through the ranks in hotel operations and graduated with a bachelors in Hospitality Management from Cal State Fullerton. Throughout his journey he discovered his true passion for delivering unique guest service experiences and team member development. Throughout his years in hospitality, Daniel has worked for both Boutique hotels (Joie De Vivre) and Hilton Hotels and Resorts. Now, the General Manager of Inn at the Cove, he prides his hotel on guest satisfaction and team member empowerment. Since joining the Shorebirds team in 2018 Daniel has specialized in training and developing team members to encourage career professionals and internal promotions. Outside of the hotel you can find Daniel checking out the amazing local restaurants or visiting the vibrant downtown areas throughout the county.
